*snickers* Another Sim down.. we should go to Pleasantview next.

I posted these earlier, however the texture went missing once I put them in the game. Well me and pikkon looked at it and realized that optimizing the mesh meant I would have to remap it. Can you say no? I knew you could.

So we have great detail but also high poly. I’m sorry. I truly do not feel like remapping these. They are still one tile, mainly I figured these are more for story/picture taking purposes than actual game play statues. They are 11k poly! I’ve warned you. :P The master is still the attacking angel.

Many thanks to GarysMod whose model I used as a base to get these started. If it wasn’t for that little gem I would probably be still trying to do the hands.

Well, there’s still a few seam issues and like an idiot I turned the mesh the wrong way. The only excuse I have is that I’ve been playing with meshes to much lately and I think I blinked. :P

They aren’t perfect and higher in poly than I originally thought. :/ I’m going to try to fix that. Hopefully I won’t lose too much detail but it’s either detail or a very high poly mesh.

Some time ago, niaflowers asked me about making a weeping angel statue. Well this is what I got! After much fighting and pulling my hair out. I keep thinking the shading is off but maybe that’s just me. I will say that it is a bit high poly, 7k on a one tile mesh. :( However if I go down to 5k the little details get lost. Any feedback?

- I think I’ve added on about 26 objects to this set. Although, I think 10 of those are extracted boxes and clothing clutter from the game. I admit I probably got a bit carried away and well.. yeah! I know everything functions as it should, except for the slots on some things. I’m still learning all that. :) I’m really proud of this set. Even if all I did was poke, rip apart and piece back together meshes.

The house that crates made! I still have to fix a few of the slots on some stuff, mainly the desk and the coffee table. I’m still trying to figure my way around two tile objects so those are way off.

I would also like to say thank you to all those people that have left comments on these work in progress posts. They have meant the world to me and has kept me going on this when I wanted to throw the towel in.

Anyway, I’m going back to dark depths of SimPE to figure out what I’ve done wrong now. xD

And we are getting there! I have to fiddle with a few more slots, maybe tweak a few things here and there but I’m so loving this set. Thank you to mustluvcatz for pointing out what the barstool issue was. The slots for the counters now work. There’s four storage slots now. I put in the wrong x,y and z code. I’m also hoping that’s what’s blocking the shelves but I’ll get it. :) I’m literally bouncing in my seat.

*runs screaming from the men in white jackets* They’ve come to take me away now. :P

So, I think it’s coming along really well. The dress (pictured bottom) is fully functional and has been fixed so the crates don’t sink through. However, I’m having a slight problem with the counter. I got four slots enabled, however they are exactly where the vase is. I’m not sure what I did wrong. I’m just amazed that I got the slots enabled on my first try. Even if they are wrong. I’ll continue to work on this because I’m determined to have this up and working by Monday. Oh, I do have a bit of an issue with the barstool. It won’t slide forward like it should. I’m wondering if I borked something when I messed with the mesh again. :( I’ll figure it out eventually.

So, that’s my progress since I last posted. I’m really thrilled about this set. So, I’m hoping other people are too. :P

Also, I’m looking for my straight jacket if anyone sees it let me know.

It’s time for a work in progress post! Some time ago, Curiona and Shasta asked me about slaving the Crates set Veranka did. Well, they wanted the seating all slaved. However, I noticed there was a lack of cheap furniture so I’m trying to make some. These are just the counters. I’ve gotten more than this done but I’m actually loving the counters. I’m going to finish up the set and then try and add slots. We’ll see how this goes.

*runs back to SimPE, muttering insanely about crates*

Oh, did I mention I did get the set slaved. Well mostly! The bookcase I’m using for different things. I think there will be three masters when I’m finished. The sofa, the bookcase and of course the counters because they just don’t play nice.
